Lighthouse — A bright, light roast coffee from the volcanic highlands of Guatemala, Lighthouse greets your cup with a lively, medium acidity. On the palate, soft citrus notes mingle with a delicate, nutty sweetness reminiscent of almond, giving the brew an elegant, balanced finish. The overall experience is light, uplifting, and refined; perfect for a morning sip that lets its origin’s brightness shine.

Our Lighthouse coffee is sourced from the Café Femenino Guatemala Program.  The Program began in 2005 when female coffee farmers organized in order to receive fair compensation in Guatemala’s coffee industry. In spite of initial barriers, including an ingrained cultural stigma against women meeting without men, the women have worked tirelessly to grow Café Femenino Guatemala. Lake and River Roasters is proud to support those who offer a guiding light in this world!
