Amanda is the rockstar owner of Cup of Joy Cafe in Cape Vincent. Making the Cafe a success in the past 6 years hasn't been an easy feat, but Amanda has done it with gusto! Lake and River Roasters has been a dream of Amanda's for several years and she is excited to bring it to fruition with Brian and Sandy. Amanda's passion for coffee and love of conversing about it make her the perfect person to lead our sales division.

Sandy is a Biomedical Engineer who brings a whole host of business experience to the table. From running business operations for a sales company and a non-profit to running her own consulting company, Sandy is ready to run the day-to-day operations of Lake and River Roasters (in the back where no one sees her). Fun fact: Sandy is caffeine intolerant and is mission driven to make the best cup of decaf out there!

Brian is a Mechanical Engineer who brings his knowledge of thermodynamics and passion for good coffee to his role as primary roaster and R&D Manager for Lake and River Roasters.  Brian has already been hard at work with a roasting consultant learning the craft of coffee roasting and testing out new roasting profiles.
